一直很想跟你分享这首歌。相信大家都熟悉这首歌吧？每次听到这首歌时，我都觉得很有“感觉”，因为歌词中一些部分，很贴近我的所经历的，也很符合我的处境，比如说，机场、飞机、行李，还有这句话，“用你给我的翅膀飞，飞到再高都不会累”。每次听到这句时，我都觉得很受鼓舞，感觉我就好像用你们（在新加坡的你们）给我的翅膀飞，让我飞到多远，飞得多高，都不会累。而的确，在这里的五个月时间里，谢谢你们所给我的翅膀，你们的鼓励，你们的问候，你们的微笑，你们的关怀，你们的想念，还有我的教会你们的祷告，让我更有信心、更有勇气去翱翔。。。
飞了那么长的时间，看到了白云，当然也碰见了乌云，遇过晴天也有雨天，偶尔有打雷闪电，但总算雨过天晴了！
后天我就要回家了，那时会真的“飞”，（会用SIA的翅膀飞，哈哈！）我想这次的飞，应该会和当初离开新加坡非常不一样吧。因为这次是要回家，不会像当初飞来时那么伤感，真的很期待能够飞回你们的身边。这次的飞，我会带着在中国杭州所经历的一切、所给我的“翅膀”回去的，虽然我不知道我回去后会需要去面对、去适应什么，因为不知道新加坡的一切是否变了？特别是教会，我是不是已跟教会的人疏远？会不会变得很陌生？因为我们毕竟5个月没见面了。这是我“回家的心情”中最为矛盾的心情。。。的确很矛盾。我这几天也一直为这件事祷告，希望我能快快适应吧。回去后一定要跟大家好好联络感情！

还有，这首歌《翅膀》也要献给棣嵩的。。很可惜无法在新加坡和你见面，知道你已经回伦敦去了，这五个月的时间，谢谢你这个“同一条船上的人”所给我的鼓励！对不起，我会“先上岸”，但我们还是会在同一片天空底下！继续加油好吗？

So I’m typing English for u now! haha..this song is for you too! know u’re leaving 2 weeks after I get back =( ,that’s super fast can, gonna miss u badly! But I know u’re very thankful for a chance like this, gonna be a great experience for you! you will miss home a lot, and tt’s okie de, but dun worry, we’ll be praying for u, and I noe u are a strong gal, u’ll fly high high de! =)

And to all, here some are details about my flight back to singapore..i’m flying this Sunday, flight number is SQ 831, touching down at 7.25pm, will not know the terminal until few hours before the flight..yup. taking off at 1.50pm at Shanghai Pudong Airport (provided there’s no delay cuz the weather quite bad recently), but need to set off from school at 6am, cuz the bus journey from hangzhou to shanghai needs 3-4 hours, then plus lunch, plus check in, plus allowance for any delay along the way..so yup, though its early, but its better to play safe!! We all dun want to miss the flight! Yeap, its jus the day after tmr! The day i’ve been waiting for! So.. See you guys really soon! =)

hi hi people! i'm back from beijing! the trip was very fun, jus that it was really really cold!!! hands and feet were so numb that i dun feel they belong to me at all! but it was a great experience..will put up pics for u guys to see when i have enough time! for now, these are the pics i took at the ZUCC treat and party world! =)

ZUCC treat and party world!

yesterday we had dinner at the big restaurant i mentioned..but the food was a bit disappointing la..and plus, all the teachers were there so most of the time we were taking pics with them (so din eat much), and taking pics with one another, cuz soon all of us will be going separate ways le! thank God for all my classmates and friends, esp my darling xuan/duanhui and jiahui =) . took a lot of pics, wanted to post it here de, but jus couldn't upload any of them! guess got to post them up after i come back from beijing..hope blogger works better then...
after the dinner, we went back to hostel to have a good rest, and then we headed to Party world! rmb the hu2 bin1 lu4 that i shared with all last time? yeap, party world is around that area..anyway, party world is SOOO grand lah, the whole place like hotel liddat! the sound system also very good, much much better than Kbox and party world in singapore! and the buffet is delicious, the toilets are very clean too..haha..had a great time singing with my frens! took pics too, will post them up some other time too!
going beijing tmr, coming back on tues night (the flight's at 8 plus pm, so guess should be around 11 pm when we reach hangzhou)..never been to beijing so feeling very excited!! =) yeap. tonight need to slp early as well, got to wake up at 5am!

alrights! my exams are finally over!!!!!! wohoo!!! super thrilled!!!!
have been working hard for 4 months plus, especially during the past 3 or 4 weeks, so now its finally "phew" for me! really thank God for bringing me thru! but a prob comes, i have only 10 days left in china (including the 4 days in beijing), but i've got so many to do! things which i hasn't really done for the past few months, things like shopping and sightseeing! and i have to fork out some time for packing as well! so many things to pack, hope i have enough kilos to spare, even though i preparing to send one big parcel back by sea, but there's still like sooooo many things..but well, i'll be happily packing!..cuz waited for these days for so long le!!! ahhhh! haha. yea,i told yueting n huishan i'll go crazy after my exams, and i did!! my frens and i were like screaming in our hostel la! haha =)
anyway, ZUCC giving us a treat tonight, at a big big restaurant in our campus..the restaurant is public de, jus using our sch campus...and the food is REALLY nice..we (all 33 singapore students) went there to have our christmas celebration cum gift exchange, and me, duan n xuan went there again on the first of jan..yeap. will post pics for u all to see again!!! then probably after the dinner tonight (depends on the time), we might be going party world to sing Karaoke overnight!!!! haha. yea, its time for some great fun!! =)

2007年的最后一天

Today is the last day of 2007! 时间过得真快！明天就是1月1日了，在国外跨年的感觉很奇怪，不会特别兴奋，因为正在预备考试，但明天还是会跟朋友去大吃一顿，庆祝新的一年的到来！一月份的到来，也代表着，我离回家只有20天的时间。有一点点小兴奋。非常期待！=）

不知2008年会是怎么样的一年，毕业之后不知道我前面的路该怎么走，真的求主引领！但我知道，在新的一年，主还是会依然地保守和看顾着我们的。。。

12月31日也是ah gong的生日。
前几天，我的同学靖平的公公去世了，他已赶回新加坡，不回来了，考试会在新加坡考。靖平跟他的公公感情非常好，所以突然去世的消息对他来说是个不小的打击。现在不知道他在新加坡的情况如何。。。看着他，我也想起我的ah gong，ah gong 已经离开我们6年了。那时我才13岁，真的很可惜，我好希望他现在还在，让我有机会好好地孝顺他，也有机会跟他培养感情，就像我和ah ma一样。没关系，到了天堂还可以见面的！您在天堂一定很开心吧！=) Happy birthday ah gong!!

The duration for all the five exams are from 8.30am-10.30am..anyway, 中国通史and 古代文学 are the 2 subjects which i'm more worried for...yup

谢谢耶稣的爱，陪我走到了第15周，多一个星期，我就要上课结束了。然后就要考试了。第一个卷子在1月3日，最后一个应该是在10日吧。详细的考试日期还不知道。知道了，会跟大家说的。现在也非常忙碌，还在赶作业，算是最后一批的作业了。回想这个学习，不知作了多少大大小小的作业，在新加坡都没有这么忙过！唉，有一些累了，所以需要你们为我祷告！来临星期二是圣诞节，但那天有一个作业要交，星期四也有多一个作业要交，看来不能好好庆祝了！其实，也没有什么庆祝活动，因为中国不庆祝圣诞的=（。但我知道你们现在应该很兴奋吧，圣诞节要到了。教会也会在明晚有庆祝晚会。在这里先预祝大家“圣诞节蒙恩！”。希望你们在庆祝圣诞节之余，不要忘记在中国为着学业拼搏的雪薇好吗？不然我会非常伤心和emo的。哈哈。特别要记得为我祷告！谢谢你们啦！May God bless you!

绍兴！

终于拿回相机了！星期四晚上才拿回，是到导游家里跟她拿。真的很不好意思，以后一定会好好检察物品后才下车的！

Anyway，上星期六的绍兴一日游，我们只去了三个地方，一是鲁迅祖居/故居。鲁迅相信大家都认识，所以我也不多做介绍。

二是沈园，以下是沈园的介绍，沈园原为沈姓旧业，是南宋时当地名园。园中有芦池，上有石板小桥，连同池边假山、水井，均为当年旧物。南宋诗人陆游初婚唐琬，后被迫离异。绍兴二十五年（1155年），二人在沈园邂逅。当时唐琬已改嫁，陆游也另娶。陆游一时感慨万端，在园壁题《钗头凤》词一首云：“红酥手，黄滕酒，满城春色宫墙柳。东风恶，欢情薄，一杯愁绪，几年离索。错，错，错！春如旧，人空瘦，泪痕红邑鲛绡透。桃花落，闲池阁，山盟虽在，锦书难托。莫，莫，莫！”极言痛若之情。唐见后和作一首，中有：“病魂常似秋千索”，“怕人寻问，咽泪装欢，瞒，瞒，瞒！”之语，不久抑郁而死亡。《陆游集》中，有记咏沈园、追念往事的诗多首。。。

三是到兰亭景区。以下是兰亭的介绍。兰亭，位于绍兴城西南13公里的兰渚山麓。据传，春秋时越王勾践种兰于此，东汉时建有驿亭，因而得名。“此地有崇山峻岭，茂林修竹，又有清流急湍，映带左右。”自然景观幽雅怡人。而东晋王羲之在此书写了著名的《兰亭集序》，更使兰亭闻名遐迩。兰亭，融秀美的山水风光、雅致的园林景观、独享的书坛盛名、丰厚的历史文化积淀于一体，以“景幽、事雅、文妙、书绝”四大特色而享誉海内外，成为中国一处重要的名胜古迹。

在期中考试之间，我们曾学习过《兰亭集序》，因此能够到兰亭一趟，实在是非常难得！而且也到了诗人陆游和他的恋人分离后再次邂逅的地方，还有到了鲁迅先生住过的地方，真的非常开心。=）

绍兴一日游+相机失而复得

昨天学校带我们去了绍兴一趟。玩了一整天才回去学校。本来还高高兴兴的。但去吃了晚餐，回到宿舍后，才发现相机不见了！我猜想一定是留在旅游巴士上了。因为在回程的时候，我还有拿相机出来拍一点照片。但好像没放回包包里，后来又睡着了。所以可能是掉在地上或是掉进缝里头了。Sigh，我真粗心。应该检查后才下车的。可是那时刚睡醒，迷迷糊糊的。之后就回到宿舍放东西，再去吃晚餐。放东西时，我有把我的物品全拿出来，只是那时也不知道为什么没有察觉相机不在包包里头。是吃了晚餐回到宿舍里头，还冲好凉了以后，才发觉相机不见了。那时已经11点多了。我们坐的巴士是中青旅中公司。昨天带团的导游没有留下电话，但还好我们有之前带我们到西湖的导游的电话（她也是中青旅游公司的），所以就打给她，让她帮我联系昨天的导游。昨天的导游在十多分钟后联系我，跟我说，她联络不上司机，所以明天（星期天）会再帮我找司机。Sigh我昨晚根本无法入眠，终于等到今天早上，但等啊等，等到10点多，还是没电话进来。我因此就发了简讯给导游，她跟我说，她已经跟司机讲了。司机先生也一定会去检查的，结果如何也会跟她说的。所以我就只好等了。Wah，原来等待一通重要的电话是如此难耐的。时间过得好慢好慢。一个小时，两个小时，三个小时，四个小时。多难等啊！但感谢神，终于在2点10分时，从司机口中知道，我的相机已被他找到了！！实在太高兴了！！really really thank God。。这件事让我想了很多很多，我在想，如果找不回，我会如何面对呢？我还会不会感谢主？神要我学习什么功课呢？这些问题我还还没好好思考，但我知道，失而复得的东西会更令我珍惜的。以后无论坐什么车，我一定会检查包包才下车的。不会再让东西不见了。不见东西令人觉得好痛苦哦。
对了，还好相机找回来了，不然也不能给你们看我所拍的珍贵照片和回忆！等我拿到相机后会upload给你们看。应该会在今晚或明天去找司机。放心，会有朋友陪我去的。

难忘的星期五

昨天我陪了xuan 到医院去。那是我们第二次去。第一次，她是去看皮肤科，因为手长了怪怪的红斑。昨天去是去看骨科，因为她的膝盖很疼痛。我们去的医院是“杭州第二市人民医院”，离我们学校非常近。在杭州，他们没有所谓的诊所，大病小病都去医院。其实我们学校有校医，但他真的很没用，言行举止非常吊儿郎当。每次给他看，都会叫我们到医院去。到了医院，就要先登记，然后柜台小姐就分配我们到什么楼、什么科去。xuan因为没有摔伤过，医生也看不出什么问题，就叫她去照x-ray。忘了跟你们说，中国医院都相当简陋，跟新加坡比起来，真的是相差十万八千里！听xuan描述，他们x-ray 不需要脱衣服，只需躺在那边给他们照几下就行了。

Anyway, 我陪xuan的过程中，看到医护人员把一位紧急病患送来放射科（x-ray），紧急给他照x-ray。那位病人好像是出了车祸，头部严重受伤。我看了，实在是毛骨悚然！。心寒了一下。我其实很害怕看到这种场面。受伤真的是件可怕的事情。我好害怕我身边的人受伤。当下，我也急忙向神祷告，祈求那名病患可以好起来，也同时为我的健康感谢神！我也祈求神能够让我平平安安地回新加坡。因为在这里，好像到处都是虎口，尤其是马路上。

后来，因为xuan必须等一个小时才能拿到她的x-ray片，赶不及上课，所以就叫我先回去。我就急忙赶回学校去，还好没有迟到。后来xuan大概在我回去后的一个小时，就回到了学校。之后我们就到舟山东路去吃晚餐。去一个叫“末莉”的餐厅。那边有卖非常好吃的意大利餐。=）星期五了，终于可以好好的享受，给自己一个喘气的机会。

还有，晚上回到宿舍后，我心血来潮，跟xuan洗起厕所来，把厕所刷得干干净净。非常有满足感。我想这也是我发泄的好方法吧。是，昨天是有些不开心。是关于成绩的。但今天想通了。不是我退步了，是人家进步了。我只管做好自己该做的事，虽然成绩和排名也许不再是全班第一，也许就会因此令对我期望高的老师们失望，也许会引来等着我跌倒的同学们的嘲笑，但，他们又能把我怎么样？退一步，海阔天空。太看重，反而越不能如愿。我想这也许是神给我的一种磨练自己更经得起社会的现实的机会吧。

今天，我的教会举行了６０周年的庆祝、感恩礼拜。我要在这里祝我的教会，长老会嘉恩堂，60周年快乐！但很遗憾，我无法到场跟大家一起欢庆。还好荣顺把礼拜的bulletin电邮给我了，所以我大概可以“想象”你们今天做了什么。。在bulletin里面，有牧者的话、诗歌、也有从50周年到60周年，我们教会所历经的一切。。我也读了一下。我为我的教会感谢神！但愿嘉恩堂每一年都能成长，成为一个更合神心意的教会！还有，７０周年的庆祝，我一定要到！不可以再错过了。哈哈。May God bless Abundant Grace Presbyterian Church richly!

As we celebrate our 60th birthday, I pray that as members of the body of Christ we will live with complete lowliness of mind(humility) and meekness (unselfishness, gentle-ness, mildness), with patience, bearing with one another and making allowances because we love one another. Food+Crazy Night!

Last tues (20/11), me and weixuan went to eat at this restaurant “Croissants de France” at Ouchan..i ate lasagna while xuan ate baked rice..we both ordered the set meal which includes salad and soup (with garlic bread!) and its cost only 35 rmb (7 sing) per meal! So cheap and so nice..and the service is quite good too! haha, pics for u all to see again!

Then on sat, me, weixuan and duanhui had a super exciting night! We went to this place called 湖滨路to have dinner at AJISEN!! Hu bin lu is along the coast of xihu, and there are many restaurants and branded shops (eg, Hermes, Armani etc) and Grand Hyatt(!!!) along hu bin lu..but the main thing is, its along xihu, so its super nice! and the place looks super lots like Clarke quay la! =) and just nice there was a performance (music fountain) on xihu that night..so we watched it before going for dinner...

Contended duan and xuan

Happy me! Hasn’t eat jap food since we came china so we were really excited! I ordered unagi set for only 32 rmb! We ordered some side dishes too..and the whole meal only cost us around 46 rmb per person..thank God for nice and cheap jap food!

And now..very exciting stuff to share with all of you!! We went on to have another round of dinner at a restaurant next door to ajisen, and its PRIMA TASTE TRUE SINGAPORE CUISINE! Haha. The restaurant is so so so high class, but they are selling our hawker centre food stuff! To name a few, laksa, satay, chicken rice and deserts like ice kachang etc..so its quite funny…but nevertheless, we felt really 亲切 ! the three of us ordered carrot cake, satay and bobo chacha to share..but its not cheap! 60 rmb in total, for really small serving! Hmm..the taste of course cannot be compared to Singapore de, but close to le lah…but no matter wad, we were very contended already..

Then we went shopping and then to sing karaoke! Haha.seriously crazy night! They call karaoke 卡拉鼠…cute name yea? But then u’ll ask me, what so crazy about it yea? Haha, the thing is, we actually sang till the next morning! First time liddat wor! But at first, I wasn’t very willing to stay overnight outside de..but then dun wanna “splash cold water” on duan n xuan..and plus sing short short while really not shiok enough..so ya.but okie la, I think its okie to relax once in a while..and since for the following few weeks, there won’t be much chances for us to relax le…will be concentrating on assignments and revision le! And guess this kind of overnight karaoke will only be a once in a lifetime chance (with poly frens) .yup.

曾说过要跟你们分享杭州的交通。。这里的交通可算是相当的混乱。有交通灯也等于没交通灯，司机们只要看到没车没人，就会继续的行驶。不然就是，即使有人要过马路，他们只要能比你快，也还是会冲过去的。所以在这里过马路要特别小心。杭州车很多，而且司机的驾驶技术都非常纯熟、大胆，而且很快。如果他们在新加坡驾车一定会被烦死，新加坡人在这里开车也一定会被吓死。如果你在新加坡遇到再野蛮的司机，也一定至少比新加坡的司机好多。。以前在新加坡开车时，有时会埋怨有些司机驾车没有耐性，没有公德心，但来到这边后，我真的很appreciate新加坡的司机们了，也很怀念新加坡良好的交通秩序。。。但现在我们已适应了这里的交通，过马路也比较大胆了。但还是请你们继续为我在这里的安危祷告。
延安路
我们很喜欢到一个叫“延安路”的地方逛街。延安路就像新加坡的 orchard road，可算是市中心，有一排排的广场和购物中心。那里有一间地方叫做“银泰”，很像takashimaya..东西比较贵，而且还有breadtalk! Yes yes..breadtalk from Singapore! so excited to see it..last time when Rs came to find me, we went there to buy bread too! haha yea.

On Sunday, Me and a few of my classmates went Hangzhou zoo, 灵隐寺and永福寺 which is all around the xi hu area...it was really tiring cuz we were walking a lot..and really cold too!! My hands and feet were so numb that I couldn’t walk properly...ya..but overall, it was quite fun, though the zoo is not that well built la..but we saw panda! Wohoo.

新农村...

on friday, my class went out for another “excursion”, for the module 当代中国。We went to visit “三墩镇新农村”…it’s a district/area developed from 农村and for农民。If u are there, u’ll never believe that it is actually a place for farmers to live in..take a look at the pictures and u’ll know what I mean..

the whole area looks like sengkang/punggol area hor!! and the apartments too:

this is one of a resident's flat..owned by a granny and family..granny is so nice! she lets us come in, and even told us no need take off our shoes..so we all feel quite bad making her clean floor turn so muddy! guess she must have had a hard time cleaning!

anyway, went out for the whole day today too! went to hangzhou zoo and some places of worship (temples)..ya..will upload pics for u all to see when blogger pictures upload starts working normally..yeah.

and i webcamed with my family(ah ma,dad n mum,Rs,my 3 uncles+2 aunties, aunt ruth n uncle daniel, cousins=esther/david/mark/damian, biaogu(dad's cousin)+leeane, who is my biao sao's daughter) during damian's 6 yrs old birthday party! this is the first time i see my family(other then dad mum n sis of course) online! and the first time i wasn't able to be part of my family's gatherings..its a little sad la..but yea, like what they say, i'll be back in 2 mths time and we can celebrate new yr together..and yes, we have so much time in the future..but still, thank God for the chance to webcam! now i really know, i miss them so much! these are the people who makes me feel loved since i was born till now..seriously from the moment i was born ok! haha.yea.for those who din know, i was delivered by my ah ma, at my ah ma hse, becuz i was too eager too to "come out" and so my mum couldnt make it to the hospital (Mt Alvernia, my birth cert printed Mt alvernia though) in time..yah lor.my ah ma sort of pulled me out by my shoulders..so i guess the 1st person i saw was my ah ma, maybe tt explains why i am so close to her..thinking of my ah ma makes me feel both warming and saddening! sigh.cuz she old le mah..someday she won;t be around..she herself say that often too..though i noe we'll still meet in heaven, but its still a little upsetting lei...but i noe ah ma would want to go and accompany ah gong, who went back to heaven 7 yrs ago..and to be with her twin sister, who is my laoyi, who passed away last year..this 2 person has been the most important people in her life..and she had experienced the pain of losing them..she is a strong lady, i must say..but i think she feels lonely deep in her heart, facing an almost empty hse (since my uncle has moved away after his wedding, and tt my 3rd uncle is out working most of the time..) everyday..think she must be missing the times when she and laoyi will chat on the phone, or the bickers that she n ah gong will occassionally have..haha.ya, now she has only her children and grand children to depend on. i noe how much she needs us.but for an old lady, think she's contended already..just by seeing that we are happy and that we can go back and eat the dishes prepared by her once in a while.still, i've promised myself that i will be filial to her and go her hse accompany her whenever i can..hope i can do smt for her! yup. thank you ah ma!

走了一半

对，我们过了一半的时间了！到了杭州71天，还有多65天就可以回家了。超期待！谢谢神的带领，让我平安无事地度过了一半。请大家为我祷告，让我更有信心走完以后的日子！过了这么多天，我有相当深的领悟。我回想到我们第一周时，我们刚到的时候，心情是多么的糟。容易想家。看到什么都能够想到新加坡。那时候，总觉得日子过得很慢，很不想跟朋友出去玩、去逛街，不想去吃好吃的食物，只想快快把书读完，然后回新加坡。后来当一切慢慢适应了之后，心情就比较好了。。开始会懂得“享受生活”，比如说，会去逛逛、找好吃的东西吃，跟朋友也常常闹在一起。想家的那种情怀已不再是痛苦，而是一种力量。在读书方面，虽然课业渐渐繁重，但因为心情比较愉快，所以还可以应付。接下来会更加辛苦，会有很多作业要交，之后还有5个科目的考试，所以我可能就不常blog了，但还是请你们多加为我祷告；让我可以应付接下来的学习，以及应付寒冷的冬天。现在杭州的天气可以算是非常冷了，气温平均在18度以下，那是最高温度，最低可以到单数字。相信很快就要到冬天了，可能还会下雪。要在寒冷的冬天预备考试，应该不容易吧。但我相信会是很好的体验。

今天下雨了，最不喜欢这种天气。为什么不能天天都有太阳呢？有太阳的秋天还不算非常非常冷，但下雨的秋天，却是让人冷得发抖。真不喜欢。希望雨快快停。太阳快快出来。

Another week has passed! We have completed 9 weeks of studies..7 more weeks to go! And 10 more weeks from home...its kinda fast isn’t it? Been here for around 2 mths le..so Thank God for bringing me through..

Fell sick 2 days ago..flu and sore throat..almost my whole class sick la..2 of my roommates sick too..so I think I gotten the virus from them..i feel quite terrible..cuz the clearing of nose makes me very dizzy..super nausea too..then the throat like burning, eat/drink/talk also pain..=( Pray tt I can get well soon!

Its been a tough week too..had my history test on tues..studied super hard for it..so many things to memorize..and wad came out was just a little portion of wad I have studied..argh! but thank God it was still manageable..yup..无论怎样，过了就过了！it was a relief for all of us la! But we din get much rest cuz we need to hand in one essay today..the datelines are kinda tight, esp after mid term..got many things to do! So pls pray for me k?

Okie…I need to go get some rest before I start working on the next assignment..its 哲学 homework..need to hand in on wed..yup. Take care people! Have a great weekend! =)

isn’t this song lovely? As I was listening, every single word speaks to my heart, and before I noe it, I was tearing already =) 不是伤心的眼泪，而是感动/感恩的眼泪。Isn't God amazing? He’s telling me so much thru so many different people, esp my non Christian classmates! And I know that God wants me to share it with you.

Hope the song touches u and I pray that it would speak to ur heart, just as it did to me. 星期一在杭州过了生日。这生日非常特别！我收到了一份非常特别的礼物。就是荣顺！=) 星期六他出现在我的hostel，给了我非常大的惊喜！我真的非常感动。
I was doing my homework when someone knock on the door..my fren opened the door and was like….“xuewei……..”..haha..then I turned to look at the door..and I saw Rongshun! I seriously thought I was dreaming! It took me quite a while to realize that he actually flew over here to give me a birthday surprise..so sweet right! He had it all planned weeks before and my teacher IC here in china and teachers back in Singapore all noe abt it..ya. I din even had the thought tt he would appear in person, so really really touched! Thank you dear!
Anyway, Rs was here for 5 days 4 nights..and went back on wed afternoon..though I was very happy to see him come,but I was even sadder to see him leave..but me now ok le..things are sort of back to normal liao..it was a good break for me too..i had fun bringing him to places and eateries which I badly wanted him to see =) it was a fruitful time spent..we went shopping for winter stuff..we went to ouchan..went starbucks..and to xihu!!! So cool..it was so nice to tour xihu again,with Rs =) we took lots of pictures too, close to 300 I think! Rs has really good photography skills!..so here are some pics we took..if u are wondering why we can take pics together, tt's becuz we were using timer! haha =)

And my frens celebrated my birthday for me too! They did it on Sunday, cuz they noe I would want to spend Monday with Rs.yup..it was another surprise! The whole bunch of them gathered in my hostel, and waited for me to open the door..(just like how AGPC youngsters surprised me few days before I leave for china)..i received gifts and letters too! my CHS mates are really nice people..Thank God for them!
By the way, Rs brought all ur letters and gifts from Singapore to me too! 谢谢妈妈、爸爸的两封信，还有一些灵修材料等！谢谢姐的蓝色jacket！谢谢my little damian 所做一张卡片(xuewei jie jie miss you so much too, damian! Thanks aunt ruth for being the “mastermind” haha) 谢谢 AGPC peeps的团契卡片and the nice nice wooden thingys from my cell! Super cute! 谢谢你们！and thanks to those who send me birthday greetings thru email and weisin da ge 's sms!! =) and of course thank you dear for making my birthday so memorable, and for coming over to spend it with me..真的很谢谢你！Thanks for your love and for your thoughtfulness! already missing you le, but as wad you said, I’ll be back soon! Ok, I read disong’s blog..he said that he saw pics on yubao laoshi’s farewell on ching’s blog..so I went to check it out too, feeling really excited, cuz I HAVEN seen ANY pics of AGPC peeps after I left!

As I was looking at the pics, I could actually felt the same as Disong! And before I noe it, 眼泪就一直流下来。=( 心情非常的矛盾。我看到大家一起穿上白衣，一起去吃prata，然后一起合照。以前，看到这些合照时，我会快快去找我的脸，看我笑得好不好看。刚刚在看照片时，虽然很不想去想，但潜意识里，我在想，sigh,没有我。看来我错过的真不少。你们过得好吗？你们主日学上到哪里？在诗班学了什么新歌？我有好多想知道的东西，但我发现，我什么都不知道。昨天我跟宏伟聊天时，才跟他了解了一点。(so thanks hongwei!) 不过还是会觉得，我离你们好远哦。我好怀念与你们在一起的感觉。但似乎有一点点忘记，跟你们在一起时是什么样的感觉，怎么办？。就因为这样，我好担心，你们是不是也忘了我在你们身旁的感觉了？雪薇回去之后，会不会像是个“新朋友”？一天一天过去后，你们会不会习惯我不在的感觉呢？

Sigh, 不好意思，好像有点emo 了。

虽然如此，我想告诉自己和棣嵩，虽然我们好像“错过”了很多东西，但其实我们并没真正的错过，因为我们还是会回去的，我们会再度拥有。我们有曾经，我们有以后，我们有永恒的时间。所以cheer up k!

我相信，我们的朋友也在跟我们一样，盼望着我们回家的那一天。

看着你们年轻、开怀的笑脸，虽然我很想分享你们的快乐，但我依然为你们高兴！will be praying here in hangzhou for every single one of u! 继续为神事奉！要珍惜每一次事奉的机会。因为，来多这里，我才明白可以事奉神是一件很宝贝的事情。虽然这段时间，我无法在诗班（Alto Rocks! hope u gals are doing fine!）、团契(hang on, my dear zhiyuans! 无形中的压力。。。

我曾说要跟你们分享关于读书的东西。我记得我说，我有要考好成绩的压力。今天就更深入的与你们分享。
这个压力，虽然我是多么的不想要，但它是存在的。我朋友说，那是无形中的压力，是每个top student都会面对的。
我在义安中文系过去五个学期的日子，很感谢神给我相当优异的成绩。他看到我的努力，看到我的付出，看到我对中文的热爱。我是非常尽心、尽力做我的每一份作业。
但是，在这个过程中，形成同学们对我的印象——雪薇=聪明/用功/top student。特别是top student。他们是没有恶意的，但是我觉得这个封号太严重了。对我而言，我不在乎什么top student，我只是尽心做我应该做的，我用功是为了见证神。我也不是特别厉害的人物，我不是个聪明的人，IQ不高。但是，总有一些人误解我，认为我什么都会，所以无论什么事，都认为我必定能胜任。就因为这样，他们会认为，我没有资格说：“I feel so stressed!，这个功课真难做！”等等。因为这些从一个“top student”口中说出，在他们耳里是风凉话，是虚伪的话。所以很多东西，我放在心中，无法诉苦，滋味其实非常不好受。与此同时，他们会认为，我什么都ok，但其实我内心却是有一种胆怯，因为我知道我的能力其实是有限的，特别来到中国后，我发现，水平真的提高了不少，老师要求得非常高，比新加坡老师的要求高得多。所以每一份作业都相当的困难。想到这些作业，我的心里就会很怕，很dreadful的感觉。我想，万一我真的做不好，那岂不是会给人笑？虽然这种想法好像很世俗，但是的确是人之常情。我也想不去在乎，但无形中，它还是存在的。所以我感到非常矛盾。。。
但是！我“想通了”。我已下定决心，不再去想拿不拿好成绩的事情了。我觉得没有必要再去想。因为我告诉神，我相信他。我告诉他，我把每一份作业放在他的手中，我祈求他给我智慧和力量去handle这些作业。我只管尽力去做，然后把成绩交给神。无论成绩是好是坏，我还是会感恩的。我也会学习不要在乎人怎么说，因为他们说什么并不重要。最重要的是神怎么看我。当然，我也必须带着神的智慧与人相处，只是我要定睛仰望神，将我的盼望建立在神身上。你们也可放心，我没有被同学排斥，那些误解我的人只是一小部分。跟我比较要好的同学，对我没有这方面的误解。因为他们都知道，也看得出，我是没有野心的人。他们也知道我用功，也是为了我的神。
这是我小小的分享。请你们为我祷告，让我能撑完多10周的学习！

We went to Suzhou on the 14th..It isn't as fun as Shanghai, but i'm still happy to see see how Suzhou looks like..
以下就是我们的行程：

新加坡工业园区：
We didn't get too see much on the 工业园区, cuz we were only driving around the place (no time to go down walk walk)..but its really very singapore! like this pic looks like some area in Spore yea? so cool right! its nice to see singapore-liked stuff in a foreign country =)

Then we went to 寒山寺，its like a temple..but its now more of an tourist attraction rather than a place of worship..but still, there is people coming to 拜拜..
so here are some pictures taken at 寒山寺..

I like the river! got the 小桥流水人家 feeling..

This is some area in the Han Shan Si..see the pagoda? ya, we went up to look see also..

this is a view from the pagoda..these buildings are little temples of Han Shan Si..so the whole place is quite big..

After which, we went for lunch at some restaurant.. then to a place called 留园..its a man-made kind of 有山有水的地方.. on the way, i took a pic of this:

there are little rivers like this here and there in Suzhou..i think its quite pretty..

So this is entrance of 留园, the outside n the inside is very different..one moment u are along a busy street..then when u cross the entrance, you are into another world..

but i think its quite nice though! anyway, its 苏州四大名园之一!

上海之行

Went to shanghai on the 13th (3 hrs bus ride!)..
so here are some pics which i took throughout the shanghai journey.. Anyway, shanghai is a nice place, its smt like singapore..can see tall buildings here and there..a very advanced place..so things there aren't as cheap as hangzhou's...
Anyway, we spent most of our time in the central business district..

I am getting very stressed about my work..assignments just keep coming in, and datelines are so close! i was quite down yesterday, mainly because of work (didn't expect it to be so hard to handle), and partly is because i was quite emo la..missing Spore and stuff..and the weather is like so cold (turned autumn already)..ya..but thank God i am feeling better today le..sort of cheered up le, but still feel a little sian..

Anyway, God told me this morning thru "prayers that avail much", He ask me to cast all my burdens on Him! so nice right? a very timely reminder indeed..i will learn to do that, its not as easy though, cuz i realise its like human nature to tend to look at our troubles and not turn our eyes upon the Lord..so yea, i'm still learning to cast ALL my anxieties unto the Lord, and trust Him totally..but i noe no matter what, He's always here yea? ( FJFC!......even though ur heart is filled with fear, it doesn't matter, cuz soon u'll realise, that He's always here) yea, God is always here!

Lord, the newness of the day

its friday already! yeah. kinda fast yea? sry people i din blog last few days, cuz my internet gave me probs again..and was only fixed on wednesday (a internet expert came to help me, he helped me several times until he noes me le..so paiseh)..
then i had project meetings n birthday celebration over the past 2 nights, and when i went back to my hostel, i can only use the net for short short while before 11pm reaches..so sian.......

and sigh, i am like having diarrhoea =( should be the cheesecake (birthday cake for my roomie michelle) which i ate last night..i kept on having the runs this morning during class..i went in and out 3 times till i super malu k! the 3rd time was like after my presentation la! so paiseh. after that, i went back to hostel to rest and sleep..my frens made me sleep too, and forbid me to go for my afternoon class..so here i am using the time to update u guys, and at the same pray ask u guys to pray for me! though I am feeling much better compared to the morning (really thank God), i still feel a little weak..yah..pray that i can get well by tonight! cuz tmr n sunday is our shanghai and suzhou trip! i dun wanna miss it!
and yes, wanna thank God for giving me wonderful frens! they offered me like all sorts of medicine..haha..nicholas gave me plum balls, kehong gave me feng sha pills..chieling had diarrhoea few weeks back, and she offered me her medicine too..etc etc..but what's even touching was that i felt their love! the whole class escorted me back to my room..xuan hugged me..chie bought me porrigde (its nice!, though i am feeling a little hungry now)..and mic ask those who came to knock on our door to keep their voices down while i was trying to fall asleep..etc etc..i feel really blessed..and keep thanking God for them! so u guys dun worry k! i got so many people to take care of me! and God heals, i am sure i'll get well tmr de!

大风吹，吹什么？

吹跟大自然比起来多么渺小的人类。
放了一个星期的假期，今天又回到学校了。但今天的“重头戏”不再开课，而是暴风雨的侵袭。Sigh。因为台风的关系，我们学校也刮起了超冷的强风，还有超大的雨。我们只是从宿舍走到学校，都会全身湿透，而且头发被风吹得很乱。雨伞也被吹得倒反过来。还记得我们上完课后，每个人都在楼下考虑是否要回去宿舍。因为一踏出那幢楼，就马上会被喷得超湿。但是我们呆在学校楼也不是办法，所以就只好chiong出去。我记得那个风的感觉，它除了是刺骨，更是会令人的手脚都快冻僵了。可以感觉到我的双手双脚都麻麻的，然后全身（包括牙齿）也不停地颤抖。它的风强到人也几乎可以被吹走，是真的。我可是用尽全身的力去抵抗那冷酷的风。还好有璇在我身旁扶助我，不然我一定无法前进。风真的强到连那种坚固的玻璃门都可以被它吹开。所以说，当我们回到宿舍后，我们都非常非常非常的狼狈。
我长这么大还是第一次遇到这种情况。新加坡的风雨再怎么强大，也比不上这里的一半。所以我真的很怀念新加坡的好天气。
但是，我相信，就算风再强，雨再大，耶和华永远坐着为王。God is in control！
当然，还是要请你们为我祷告，让我有健康的身体，让我不要着凉！Thanks people…

Anyway, 也是因为台风的关系，昨晚我们整幢宿舍楼停电。一共五次，前面三次是一下下而已。大概20分钟就恢复了。第四次就比较长了，大概1个小时。最后一次是在我们睡觉时发生的。因为冷气自己关掉，所以我们知道又停电了。。。
真是非凡的体验。但我还挺感恩有这种体验。我昨天在黑暗中，用着laptop的灯，写着日记，也写下我的祷告。I really feel very close to God. And I know He was there with me and is here now with me. 主是黑暗中的光芒！

杭州西湖一游

我们（全部新加坡学生）在9月15日到了杭州西湖一趟。全中国有36个西湖，但清代《冷庐杂识》中说：“天下西湖三十又六，惟杭州最著。”。看样子，算是杭州西湖是最漂亮的。更何况，老话说：“上有天堂，下有苏杭”。能够像天堂般美丽的地方，应该真的不错吧，杭州之美，相信杭州西湖一定有所贡献。去杭州之前，也常常有人跟我说一定要去西湖走一走。所以，我们的西湖一游，我当然是非常期待的！在西湖时，我是多么的感恩，传说中的西湖竟然就摆在我的眼前，而我竟然踏在西湖的土地上！！（棣嵩羡慕吧？哈哈，因为棣嵩说他超想去的）很遗憾的是，我多么希望在新加坡的你们were there with me! 但没关系，就欢迎你们与我再次同游西湖吧！那天我们时间很紧迫，所以只走了西湖的一些地方。人很多，所以也没能好好的拍照，而且因为很多照片都是zoom in拍的所以不是很好看。但还是请你们好好欣赏！=）

我们搭船，主要是要到“九曲桥”去。远处的桥就是九曲桥。这些湖水是西湖的湖中之湖。

要经过这间“房子”，才踏上九曲桥。dunno why but i like this pic alot!!

我们之后走到了“三潭印月”，这是西湖十景中一其中一景。这是我在百度找到的三潭印月的资料。
三潭印月是西湖三岛中最大的一个岛，又名三潭映月，面积6万平方米。四周围是环形堤埂，岛中有湖，水面划为“田”字形，建有一座九转三回、三十个弯的九曲桥，岛上建筑精致，四时花卉扶疏，有“水上仙子”美称。岛南湖面上有三个石塔鼎足而立，塔高2米，球形塔身中空，有五个小圆孔，有“月光映潭，塔分为三”之说。历来人们将这里比作神话传说中的仙岛，故此岛有“小瀛洲”之称，岛荫凝秀，园林精雅，文脉蕴藉，丰姿绰约，名列西湖十景，尤以仲秋时节空中月、水中月、塔中月与赏月人心中各有寄托的“明月”上下辉映、神思遄飞而向为秋游者所必到。

那三个潭相隔太远了，所以我无法三个都照下来。

后来我们就搭船回去，在船上望向远处，可以看到这座塔。好像很有名的塔，但忘了它叫什么名。

西湖一游就这样结束了。很可惜。因为很多时间我们都是在等。等大家拍好照等等。总之，一大组人去，很难走。我希望在回国之间再找机会去，再慢慢欣赏。

KFC

I had KFC for dinner last night..and its pretty cool..我们搭Y8到欧尚去，之前跟你们说是超级市场，原来整间百货公司都叫欧尚。欧尚里面就有一家KFC，超棒的。我叫zinger来吃，真不错。中国的肯德基比中国的麦当劳好吃多了（我没吃过，但朋友都是这么说）。署条也不错。所以我吃得很开心。但是！不知不觉又想起新加坡了。特别是compass point的那间KFC。因为那是我们教会的人最常光顾的KFC。然后我第一个想起的人是子信（我的小弟），想起他吃炸鸡的样子。他吃炸鸡是吃得好像明天没得吃似的。他会静静的，不讲话，并且会非常专心地啃着那一片鸡肉，并且要一片一片送入嘴里。还记得有一次他吃ribs的部分，吃到每一个“环节”都不剩任何鸡肉。而且会露出很有满足感的样子，可爱极了。你们可以问winchester、颂恩或是承义，相信他们明白我在说什么。然后就想起跟这一群小瓜在这间KFC的时光，他们总是闹来闹去，而我就会看着他们闹，但有时会忍不住把脸遮起来，好像不认识他们，因为太丢脸了。哈哈。开玩笑。不过说真的，想起来真令人回味无穷。。。我昨天就一边吃着zinger，一边想念，然后会心一笑。。。不然就这样吧，我回去了，咱们团契全部人一起去吃KFC ok？然后等棣嵩回来探望我们时，我们再去！And we must make sure zixin goes!! 那你们就可以看看他吃炸鸡的样子。哈哈。一言为定？

之后，我们杀到欧尚的大超市购物。昨天人比周末时少，所以比较好逛。买了一些日常用品，还有文具。这间超市就和carrefour差不多，电动扶梯啊、装潢啊、摆设啊，都超级像carrefour。而且重点是它什么都有卖。超酷吧！

然后我们就坐“出租车”回学校去。很可惜，我没办法拍下照片给你们看，因为司机很凶。我怕拍了，闪光太亮，会影响他驾车。Anyway, 出租车就是那种小小型的van，是一种可以载比较多人的taxi。对了，在中国，德士叫做“搭滴”（不知道这样写对不对，念da3 di1）。我们昨晚有六个人所以就坐了出租车回去。这边的搭滴师傅和出租车师傅驾车都超级无敌了不起。改天我再和你们分享这里的交通情况。保证你们会认为，新加坡的驾车人士真的实在太棒了！哈哈，就写到这里吧。

满月了

我们来杭州已有准准一个月的时间了。快恭喜我吧！哈哈。其实日子也挺快度过的嘛。还有多3个月3个星期，我就要回家了。那3个月就是准准12个星期，3个月后，就会停课，然后1月份的开始就是我们期末考试的开始了。回新前的一个星期基本上只是休息和收拾，所以我超期待那最后一个星期的到来。但不知那时的心情会是如何。没关系，以后就知道了。先好好把这三个月挨完。
下个星期开始，就会是忙碌的日子。功课会逐渐加重，天气也会逐渐转凉。所以请你们为我祷告，让我可以慢慢放下这种思念之情，并能够像现在这样，继续把心思放在学业上面，或者说让我有继续下去的动力。也许你们不知道，但其实我有一种必须考好成绩的压力。这是学校给我的压力，也是自己给自己的要求。我会再跟你们分享。但你们放心，该努力的，我一定会努力。反正，在这里，读书的时间其实是足够的。我也没什么别的事情好做的，除了上网跟你们联系、写blog、吃饭，还有买东西之外，其实我其余的时间都会在念书。在中国上课，非常重要的一环，就是预习和复习（pre reading plus revision），不然你不会明白老师在讲什么的。所以我大多时间都是在预习和复习。虽然有时会读得很累，但我告诉自己，是为神做的，就可以继续下去了。
还有，我是那种先苦后甜的人，这是我的做事方式，也是我从第一年级到现在所一直相信的。关于读书，我还有其他领悟，改天再跟你们分享吧。

And the journey begins…

Farewell

Surprisingly, this wasn’t the saddest part for me..I felt ok on the day of departure, in fact, I was quite excited! I waved goodbye n smiled..因为我很想潇洒地离开。哈哈。一生可能只有那么一次能够在机场与人道别，当然选择最酷的方式。不知棣嵩离开的那天，也是否是潇洒地离开呢？棣嵩，在英国的生活如何呢？要照顾自己ok? Anyway, I watched Shrek 3 and 康熙来了on the plane..initially I refused to sleep, cuz its like Singapore Airlines u noe..must at least use the facilities..but in the end after watching kang xi, too tired already, so slept..but just when I was about to fall asleep, they woke us up for breakfast! Argh. Then soon we arrived at shanghai..then we had a 3 hrs bus ride to Hangzhou..i slept throughout the bus journey, but managed to take some pics of hangzhou streets along the way..Soon after, we reached Zhejiang University City College (ZUCC)..and a bunch of students helped us with the “unloading”, we are staying at Blk J, it’s a new block, so its super dusty n becuz it’s a new block so our internet wasn’t ready for us =(

Adapting

Reached ZUCC for 3 weeks (quite fast hor), and I’m still adapting to the life here lah..guess its not so easy afterall..The first week has been chaos n tough..When we first reached, our hostel room was so dusty, we had to buy brooms n mops to clean up the whole place..especially the toilet! (anyway, they dun have toilet bowl, only swat one, I was like so sian to see the toilet lah) yup..总之，就是有很多housekeeping to do..need to wipe the dusty n sandy tables, chairs and bed..then got to 铺bed sheets n stuff like that..oh ya, the hostel’s bed is double decker kind of bed..the bed is on top, n the table below.. At first, it was quite scary cuz its so~ high! But after a few days, sort of used to it le lah..actually got a lot things I can complain lor..like the sewage system had once broken down, the aircon is now spoilt too (super hot at night!), then got super lots mosquitoes (I kena like 22 bites liao lah), cements uncovered here and there…yup, that’s the environment I’m living in..of course, it can’t be compared to Singapore, but as wad my teacher say, we should all accept it with an open heart n mind..actually, this condition is already very gd compared to other places in China..so now, I’m kinda okie with the environment already..

i was feeling quite ok on the day we reached (maybe its becuz we were too busy with settling down) but from the next day onwards, when I realized that I’m actually in Hangzhou le, it feels actually a little scary..and the worst thing is, the 想家 feeling starts to come le.. I start to realize that, hey, going abroad to study isn’t 潇洒 and cool at all..its like, I have to sort of live on my own for such a long period of time..i was quite emo for the first few days, esp during weekends, I should be in church de, but here I am at a unfamiliar place..besides that, 19 weeks is definitely not short, I still have a long way to..time is one thing, another thing is, got to settle everything by myself...like washing, hanging n ironing clothes, settling 3 meals, buying groceries n some daily stuff, and managing school work at the same time! Now I really truly appreciate my mummy!! I miss her cooking so much!!!!!! So ya, will feel quite poor thing at times lah..got one day I even eat until cry lei..come to think of it, like quite silly hor..现在，我觉得好多了，因为毕竟过了这么多天，也多多少少适应这边的生活了，而且也想开了。其实比起永恒，这短短5个月算什么呢。我在这里是神的旨意，我相信这是一个很好磨练我独立的机会，更是一个只是属于我与神的旅程。虽然有时还是会很想家，但我会把这种相思之情化为动力。我一定要好好生活，尽情享受在杭州的点点滴滴，好让我回去时，能够跟你们说，我过得很充实。课业问题就算再棘手，我相信靠着神的力量，我凡事都能做！毕竟，我的天父是超过一切书本里奥妙的神，祂超乎文学、历史、哲学、写作、新闻，我需担心什么呢？

Studies

说到学业，Studies aren’t easy here..the standard is definitely higher..anyway, my purpose in ZUCC is to study, not attachment..its just a normal semester, just that we are doing it in China..We have six modules to take..all difficult de! =( “当代中国”，“阅读与写作”，“中国古代文学作品选读”，“华文新闻采访与写作”，“中国哲学精粹”，“中国通史”。If you notice, there’s a lot about China..there’s so much to learn about China, n a lot of pre studying n revision is required..i can feel the stress already! it’s a little overwhelming for me lah..got to work extra hard, its not gonna be easy, but I trust that God will sustain me thru! For the starting part, the 想家 feeling makes me dun really want to study..but recently I suddenly have the mood to study le..like today(fri), I stayed in hostel during my long long break, resisting the temptation to go online, to read up the whole chunk of 夏朝to 春秋战国 k! 超有满足感的..其实，在中国，也没有什么别的事情好做。除了吃饭、上学、买日常用品之外，其余的时间都应该会在读书和做作业吧吧。除非想出去走走。但你们知道我不是很喜欢逛街的人。而且人生地不熟，最好不要乱跑。更何况，我们来这边的目的本来就是要读书啊。。 Anyway, workload is really heavy here..so I try to keep u guys updated as often as I can ok?

Timetable wise, the whole day of lessons are divided into 四大节, first is from 8-9:35, 2nd is 9:50-11:25, 3rd is 13:30-15:05, 4th is 15:20-16:55..
Monday: I have lessons for 2,3,4 sections
Tuesday: 1,2,3
Wednesday: 2 & 4
Thursday: 2 &3
Friday: 1&4 (Ridiculous can)

School Calendar n activities:
sep 10- sep 30 (29th & 30th is a sat n sun but got to hav lessons cuz the following week is national holiday)* : Normal sch days

Food n campus

Okie, food, hmm. Of course, they definitely can’t be compared to Mummy’s cooking n those gd gd food in Spore..canteen food is mainly rice and noodles..got all sorts of饭, got 铁板one, got cai fan style, got claypot style etc, n they are super generous with the rice! Our class advisor say that Canteen food is the healthiest..but we still choose to go out of school n eat..ZUCC is really big, they got 北校区 and南校区, got to use underpass to get from north to south..my hostel n classroom is at the north campus, its just five mins walk away from hostel to classroom, super shiok (but still got to wake up early, cuz must think of other classmates as well, have to spread out the time)..they have mini marts located at north n south campus, so we usually get our daily necessities from there..if not, we’ll go to a very big supermarket (like giant liddat) called “Ouchan 欧尚” to buy stuff..Ouchan is around 25 mins bus journey from school, by bus number Y8.. anyway, if we eat out, its normally at those small small stalls just outside south campus..the street is called 舟山东路。They have good food n cool shops there..still exploring more good food with frens..anyway, Y8 is taken at舟山东路too..yupz..anyway, my fav food here is 猪排反， only 10 rmb at most..the rest of the food are cheaper than this..so expenditure in China is really cheap!!

Emo-ing in China n God’s faithfulness

Now the emotions part..sigh! like what I said earlier on,想念，思念。我不时在想念新加坡，而且是非常想念。for the starting part, When I think of all the studies n life here n that I’m so far away from home, I’ll feel really sad..like on last last tues I just broke out into tears! Kept crying! Cuz I really miss home..dunno how this 5 mths will pass..like so many hurdles to pass thru to get home..but thank God for comforting me with His Word..He ask me to rejoice in Him! and trust that He’ll lead me through! So I’m feeling much better recently le, compared to the first week.. guess its just a adapting period.. There’s a saying, 黑夜虽然漫长，但天总会亮。 Time will pass eventually, why not just spend it meaningfully right? Please pray for me too! Pray that I can be strong! N pray for my health..n pray for my internet!!! (Had been having probs to go online, guess it becuz my laptop is vista de..so a lot of probs with the connection n server..)yup, though I really miss Singapore, i shall really spend the time here fruitfully..I’ll fly on the wings of God n all my loved ones..the joy of the Lord is my strength!!! That’s what God told me on my first day of school...He asked/ ask me to rejoice in Him and do not let my heart be troubled..God is really faithful..n I can really feel that He is always by n on my side..He knows my weakness, n He tells me that my weakness is made perfect in Him..n really thank Hui Cheng lao shi for giving me a prayer book..i use that to pray every day n night..The prayer book teaches me a lot of things, like “prayer doesn’t cause faith to work, but faith causes prayer to work” (will share more in the future)..

Lastly, wanna let u guys noe, I really miss u all!!!! I miss church, miss tuanqi, miss worship band pract, miss serving on stage with AGPC young peeps, miss sun school, miss my family, miss SPH, miss everything back in Singapore! but hey xuewei, you’ll be back in no time!!!
